TIEZA, MyEG Philippines Inc. sign partnership agreement for online travel tax payments

THE Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) on Wednesday inked a partnership agreement with MyEG Philippines Incorporated for its online travel tax services system or OTTSS platform.

The OTTSS will be launched on June 18 this year and will be the central online hub for all travel tax services. The partnership agreement was signed Wednesday on at the Midas Hotel Manila. TIEZA Chief Operating Officer Mark T. Lapid and MyEG PH Chief Executive Officer Ann Margaret Saldaña jointly led the event.

“On behalf of TIEZA, It is with great pleasure that we welcome MyEG as our partner in continuous innovation to provide better service to our taxpayers.” Lapid said.

MyEG Philippines Incorporated is a one-stop provider of e-government solutions that offers online payment services with different government agencies. It links customers to various financial services ranging from online savings, insurance and online lending. It likewise provides online payment and logistical services for government agencies such as NBI clearance application and renewal, PhilHealth voluntary members payment and BIR tax payment.

MyEG PH handles over 50,000 daily transactions, making it an effective and competitive online payment system. MyEG said their online payment technology is reliable and secure and is at par with other online payment systems in the country such as GCash and Paymaya.

It has more than 80,000 over-the-counter payment channels and point of sale locations nationwide, and has access to 150,000 outlets across the world thru its partnership with Western Union.
