The dazzling candidates of the 60th Binibining Pilipinas pageant showcased their pasarela skills and runway prowess during the press presentation at the New Frontier Theater on June 7.
Sporting sleek black swimsuits by Dia Ali designer Justine Aliman, the contestants captivated the media and pageant sponsors with a fierce performance in a spectacular event produced by Aika Events and Productions. Held exactly a month before the grand coronation night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the press presentation also unveiled exciting new details about the pageant.
Current titleholders, Binibining Pilipinas International Angelica Lopez and Binibining Pilipinas Globe Anna Lakrini, presented the new crowns that will be awarded to their successors. Crafted by jeweler Manny Halasan, the crowns feature ethical diamonds and are inspired by the iconic Binibining Pilipinas logo.
This year’s prizes were also announced: the two runners-up will each receive P400,000, while the new Binibining Pilipinas International and Binibining Pilipinas Globe titleholders will each be awarded P1 million.
The much-anticipated grand coronation night on July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum will feature performances by Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, and SB19. The event will be hosted by former Binibini queens Catriona Gray, Nicole Cordovez, MJ Lastimosa, and Kylie Versoza, with appearances from former queens.
