Century Tuna, the country’s leading tuna brand, marks another milestone as it launched the ‘Saving Our Seas’ campaign which now recognized as the biggest beach clean-up in the history of Mabini, Batangas.
The ‘Saving Our Seas’ project was attended by a total of 212 clean-up volunteers, joined by Century Tuna Ambassador Alden Richards and the Century Tuna Superbods who collected 805.4 kilograms of plastic wastes along the coasts and reefs of Anilao.
With the aim to encourage the public to take more steps to achieve cleaner and livelier seas, the ‘Saving Our Seas’ initiative hopes to mitigate the effects of plastic pollution nationwide. This project is in partnership with impact organization HOPE, and Aling Tindera’s Waste-to-Cash program that promote responsible plastic waste management across the country.
