PMFTC Inc.has recently taken a step towards its vision of a smoke-free future by launching its electric vehicles in its Marikina sales office.
This move is a significant step towards the company’s goal of Carbon Neutrality by 2025 while also aiming to maintain profitability.
The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) expressed support to PMFTC’s Smoke-Free Future initiative, applauding the company for taking significant steps towards achieving a cleaner and healthier future for all. “The move towards electric vehicles is an excellent step towards creating a cleaner and more sustainable environment, which is critical for the long-term growth and sustainability of the Philippines,” said Edmund Araga, president of EVAP.
“Moreover, the shift towards electric vehicles will bring significant benefits to PMFTC, including cost savings on fuel and maintenance, as well as improved efficiency and reduced downtime. This move sets an example for other companies to follow, as it demonstrates that it is possible to achieve profitability while contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment,” Araga added.
