AG&P boosts sustainability commitment

Atlantic Gulf & Pacific International Holdings Pte. Ltd. (AG&P) announced its partnership with the University of Asia and the Pacific – Center for Social Responsibility (UA&P-CSR) in support of AG&P’s sustainability reporting with market-leading protocols.

Colin Legarde Hubo, UA&P executive director and global ambassador of the London-based International Integrated Reporting Council, will lead the initiative, focusing initially on expanding AG&P’s in-house capacity for sustainability and aligning its ESG disclosure policy with international reporting standards.

UA&P-CSR will also provide technical assistance in developing and auditing the company’s ESG data book and sustainability reporting based on Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), as well as International Integrated Reporting Framework (IIRF) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board’s (SASB) standards.

Anupam Ahuja, senior vice president for Strategic Services, AG&P Group, said, “Our ESG framework continues to evolve and grow as we develop new initiatives to deliver clean and affordable energy, operate within a rigorous compliance structure, and set market-leading benchmarks for environmental and social performance.  We are delighted to partner with UA&P-CSR and reinforce our sustainability commitment towards a carbon-neutral future.”

Hubo said UA&P is leading the call for adoption of ESG in the Philippines.

“We are privileged to be AG&P’s sustainability partner in support of the company’s ESG disclosure in compliance with international reporting standards and expand the company’s in-house capacity in that regard,” said Hubo, who has been elected twice as a stakeholder council member of the GRI and introduced the use of GRI Standards in the Philippines.
