Veteran broadcaster Julius Babao will debut as anchor of TV5’s primetime newscast, “Frontline Pilipinas” on February 7.
Early this month, Babao announced that he was leaving ABS-CBN, his home network for twenty-eight years.
Babao will be joining Cheryl Cosim in the newscast. He will be the replacement of Raffy Tulfo, who left the show in October after filing his Certificate of Candidacy for senator.
“Frontline Pilipinas” also features Luchi Cruz-Valdes, Ed Lingao, Lourd De Veyra and Gretchen Ho as segment hosts.
