Local airline operators Philippine Airlines (PAL), Cebu Pacific Inc. (CEB) and AirAsia Philippines are ramping up their promo offerings to sustain the strong demand for travel in the last months of the year.
PAL has a special discounted fare program, Global Student Plus, for international students aged 12 to 31. The program offers 10 percent discount on one-way or roundtrip fares on applicable international routes within the PAL network until December 31, for travel until further notice.
CEB is also offering anew its trademark Piso Sale in time for the “ber” months.
From September 7 to 10, CEB travelers can book their flights to select domestic and international destinations for as low as P1 one-way base fare, exclusive of surcharges and other fees. The travel period will be from April 1 to Aug. 31, 2024.
Aside from the Piso Sale, the airline is also offering 27 percent discount on CEB transfers for all its routes serving Boracay.
AirAsia Philippines has partnered with Duty-Free Philippines to provide its passengers 5 percent discount on all purchases across three Duty-Free stores, namely Fiestamall, Luxe and Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
Guests flying via AirAsia and other airlines will also get a “Free Flights Fiesta” raffle entry for every $200 spent on duty-free items.
The airline also said it is positioned for a strong rebound during the “ber” months as its top domestic and international destinations received overwhelming bookings from guests at the Philippine Travel Mart over the weekend.
