OVER 15,000 jobs as call center agents and customer service assistants are available due to high vacancies in the country, the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) said.
Based on BLE data, the top job vacancies are call center agents and customer service assistants during the period of September 4 to 8.
A total of 8,077 vacancies for call center agents are registered with the BLE, followed by the demand for 7,691 customer service assistants
There are also 3,700 job vacancies for executive assistants.
The BLE said production workers are also in demand with 3,282 job vacancies.
Completing the top five are demands for production machine operators with 1,905 vacancies.
The BLE said the data is based on the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Employment Information System (PEIS) sourced nationwide.
Also serving as a source of information by BLE are those from the government-run job matching portal, PhilJobNet.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, there are around 2.27 million jobless Filipinos as of July 2023.
