International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) has been recognized by Asiamoney as one of the top Asian companies that has shown all-round governance excellence and social responsibility efforts.
The citation is a result of the recently concluded 2022 Asia’s Outstanding Companies Poll by Asiamoney, with ICTSI named the most outstanding company in the Philippines under the transportation sector category.
“The citation was based on the company’s financial performance, management team excellence, investor relations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives,” ICTSI said.
Over 1,200 fund managers, research analysts and bankers took part in the voting across 12 markets in Asia.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong-based Corporate Governance Asia named ICTSI as the Best Investor Relations Company in the Philippines at the 13th Asian Excellence Awards.
Enrique Razon Jr., ICTSI chairman, was cited as Asia’s Best CEO (investor relations) while Rafael Consing Jr., former chief financial officer, was named Asia’s Best CFO (investor relations).
Arthur Tabuena, ICTSI treasury director and head of investor relations, was also recognized as the Philippines’ Best Investor Relations Professional.
The Asian Excellence Awards recognizes companies for their achievements and superiority in management acumen, financial performance, CSR, environmental practices and investor relations.
The winners were selected from China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
