Jolo Estrada has been garnering praise for his performance in the romantic film “Seasons.”
Since its release last July 7, the film has become the most-watched movie on Netflix Philippines. In “Seasons,” Jolo is Hans, a colleague and officemate of Lovi Poe’s character, Charlie. Hans finds himself caught in a love triangle with Charlie and her best friend, Kurt, portrayed by Carlo Aquino. As Hans realizes Charlie’s unwavering love for Kurt, he is faced with a difficult decision: should he continue pursuing her or succumb to a broken heart?
Jolo feels extremely grateful to producer Roselle Monteverde for providing him with the opportunity to be part of this project. He admits to feeling nervous when he first arrived on the set of “Seasons” in Ilocos, as it had been nearly seven years since his last appearance in his father’s film production. However, Jolo says the cast, crew, his co-actors Lovi and Carlo, and director Easy Ferrer made him feel like part of the family, putting his jitters at ease. “They made me feel at home,” Jolo adds.
“Seasons” has also gained popularity internationally, entering the top 10 most viewed movie charts on Netflix in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait. The film, conceptualized by Lovi Poe with a screenplay by Dwein Baltazar, is now available for streaming worldwide on Netflix.
