THE Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) – XII is set to hold its public hearing for the impending wage adjustment in Soccsksargen next week in General Santos City.
In a public notice, the Soccsksargen wage board said it would hold the public hearing on September 18 at the SunCity Suites in General Santos City.
“The RTWPB-XII will be conducting a public hearing for the minimum wage adjustment in the region,” said the Soccsksargen wage board.
It urged stakeholders to participate in the public hearing.
The Soccsksargen wage board said those interested may register through the link https://bit.ly/pubhearing2024.
The last wage orders for private sector workers and kasambahays in Soccsksargen took effect on October 16, 2023.
Based on WO No. RXII-23, the minimum wage rate for private sector workers was set from P382 to P403.
WO No. RXII-DW-04 raised the monthly minimum pay for kasambahays from P4,500 to P5,000.
