Add a special touch to your holiday décor this year with a floral masterpiece, created by none other but you!
Sunshine Place’s online workshop on holiday floral arrangement will teach participants to create gorgeous everlasting Christmas centerpieces. They will learn how to combine different elements and color; and play with textures using a selection of dried and preserved flowers and foliage.
For this workshop, Sunshine Place collaborates with Mira Le Fleur as two of its floral designers–Michael Marfori and King Asis–will conduct the workshop.
Michael Marfori or Mike has been a floral designer for 25 years. He has been a florist at the top luxury hotels in the Philippines such as Honey Suckel Flowershop at Westin Philippines Plaza and 517 Flower Shop at Shangri-La Hotel, Manila. He was also a florist for 20 years at the Princess Cruises Lines, Sta. Clarita CA.
King has been a floral designer for 18 years. His work experience includes stints in the Middle East–Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Saudi Arabia. From 2006-2013, he was the Head Florist at the Engineer’s Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai, UAE.
The workshop will run for two hours and is open to all skill levels on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon. Deadline of enrollment is December 1, 2021.
