Brownlee due today

GINEBRA’S Justin Brownlee is set to arrive today, with Meralco import Tony Bishop following as early as tomorrow to complete the roster of reinforcements for the season-ending tournament.

“He is scheduled to leave the USA today, his time,” Bolts coach Norman Black said yesterday of Bishop.

The Governors Cup was initially set to begin on Nov. 28 but the opening was pushed back as visa problems hounded imports, particularly those coming from the US east coast.
Marcial had previously stated he wants to give all the teams a week of practices with their imports before starting the tournament.

Rain or Shine’s Henry Walker arrived over the weekend and is currently undergoing the required quarantine protocols before joining the ranks of Alaska’s Olu Ashaolu, Blackwater’s Jaylen Bond, NorthPort’s Cameron Forte, Terrafirma’s Antonio Hester, NLEX’s KJ McDaniels, San Miguel Beer’s Brandon Brown, TNT’s McKenzie Moore, Magnolia’s Mike Harris and Phoenix Super LPG’s Paul Harris.
