Everyone will agree that Lovi Poe shines in every role she plays, whether on TV or in the movies.
She especially gives a very good performance in the new Vivamax movie, “The Other Wife.”
To think that she almost didn’t accept the project. Not even when she was told it would have Prime Cruz (“Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B” and “Sleepless”) at the helm and Joem Bascon and Rhen Escaño for co-stars.
Well now that the movie is streaming and is the number one on Vivamax, she is more than glad she did it.
“May pagkamisteryoso ang role ko,” she said. “May sikreto sila sa akin, na sila Joem and Rhen lang ang nakakaalam. And, of course, pati mga the manonood.
“I love the ending as we all share sexy scenes,” she continued. “Sa beach kinunan ang mga eksena.”

Lovi just returned from Los Angeles, California, where she met her British boyfriend, Montgomery “Monty” Blencowe.
They have been together since 2019.
“It may be a long distance relationship (LDR), but we are okay,” said Lovi, “So far, so good.”
When do they plan to get married?
“Tinatanong din iyan sa akin ni Monty,” the 32-year-old actress replied. “I told him, it will come, as I know he is the right guy for me.”
Guess what Lovi’s dream role is?
An action role!
Seems like she wants to tread in the footsteps of her dad, the late Fernando Poe, Jr., who was known for starring in several big action projects.
FPJ was only 65 years old when he died on December 14, 2004.

As she prepares for her wedding to producer and director Neil Arce, the actress wants to learn something that will make her future hubby happy: cooking.
Guess what will keep Angel Locsin busy in the coming days? Of course, this is aside from her wedding planning. She and fiancé Neil Arce are set to tie the knot before the year ends.
The actress plans to learn how to cook.
“Maski ‘yung mga basic lang muna,” Angel related. “Cooking is one talent na ‘di ko pinagkaabalahang matutunan.
“Si Neil, mahilig kumain.”
She has succeeded in losing weight, and she did it through discipline. This, said Angel, proves that whatever it is you want to do, you can do it if you put your mind to it.
By the way, do you know that Angel was an excellent swimmer in her younger days?
As a high school student at the University of Santo Tomas, she would represent her school in swimming competitions.

Shaina Magdayao just launched her bag business.
The actress says she designs the bags herself, and makes sure that they are sustainable.
“I know naman kasi that because of the ongoing pandemic, every centavo counts,” she explained, “Yet, for women, a bag is always a ‘must.’ Parang ‘di ka complete kung wala kang dala.”
Her first customers are her female co-stars in the series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
“Later, bumibili na rin ang mga lalake, na karamihan ay married and with children.”
Her salon business with her sisters is not as busy as it used to be, but thank God, said Shaina, they still run a few.
“Kaya, kahit papaano, nakapagbibigay pa rin kami ng trabaho lalo sa mga matagal na naming empleyado.”
This September, Shaina and her sisters Vina (Morales), Sheila and Sheryl will be celebrating their 23rd year in the beauty salon business.
